This blog has been specially created for new students who are going to attend the first year at Phangnga community college. Its aim is to prepare students' readiness in terms of English competency as well as language skills. After all, students in any programs are supposed to pass at least one course of English for communication prior to their graduation.

Kru Weena: My name is Weena Kanadpon. I was born in Yasothon province on Sunday 6th November,1955.My father was a policeman and my mother a housewife. Now I live at 1/4 Borsaen village, Thapput District, Phangnga province in southern Thailand. I was a student at Ban Toong Chedi school, Ban Tai Chang school, and Stree Phangnga school. After I finished M.3, I attended Phuket Teacher's College in Phuket and completed my Diploma in English in 1976. I began my teaching career in the following year at Ban Borsaen primary school in Thapput. One year later, I transfered to Kapong Pittayakom high school in Kapong,and moved back to Thapput Wittaya high school in the next 2 years. Ten years after being a teacher, I graduated Bachelor Degree from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University in Math(Secondary Level). I have taught EFL since the beginning of my work and taught maths only 2 years after earning my Bachelor. My proudest achivement in my life was winning AUSAID scholarship and graduating Master's Degree from University of Tasmania in 1996 in Education Studies(TESL). I've been working at Phangnga Community College and teaching English to both interested groups and college students since 1 July 2006.
